Realme mobile in 2019; Most exciting Realme 3 Pro, Realme U2

Oppo's sub-brand could soon launch the Realme 3 Series which includes the Realme 3 Pro, and even the successor to the recently launched Realme U1, in 2019. Interestingly, eager buyers and Realme fans are not waiting for the company to announce finalized specifications and features. Instead, they have begun listing their desired list of features they expect in Realme devices. We at MSP Gear have collated some of the most prominent feature and specifications that are routinely demanded.

Emerging from the shadows of its parent company Oppo, Realme has grown into a fast-growing company and a largely independent brand on its own. Ever since the introduction of Realme 1, the company has attempted to constantly redefine the affordable and budget segment of the Android smartphones.

1) Fast Charging for Realme 3 Pro
The Realme 2 Pro packs a 3,500mAh battery. The capacity is quite smaller than the Realme 2 smartphone that packs an impressive 4,230mAh battery. The Pro version of the device not only has a smaller battery, it also lacks any Fast Charging support. Needless to mention, this means users have to keep the handset tethered to a charger for a longer period of time.

2) Quick updates/Android P out of the box for all Realme phones
Realme does offer updates for its devices. However, majority of the Realme smartphones are still on Android 8.1 Oreo. This fact is a little concerning because Realme handsets do not have a heavily customized ColorOS skin over base Android OS. Hence, it should be fairly easy for the sub-brand to send out updates at an accelerated pace.

3) EIS, 4K Recording on Realme U2
The Realme U1, a device that launched recently, has a surprisingly capable rear as well as front camera setup. The dual rear camera setup consists of 13MP primary sensor that’s coupled with 2MP depth sensor.

4) Night Mode feature for Realme 3 Pro, Realme U2
The Google's Night Sight mode, Huawei's Night Mode, and OnePlus' Nightscape mode have been quite successful in offering some amazing photos taken in low or even poor lighting conditions.

5) Widevine L1 support for Realme 3 Pro
Smartphones that do not have Widevine L1 support cannot stream premium and subscription-based content in high definition. Netflix and a few other services limit the stream to 480p or even lower.
