Indian veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has passed on from leukemia at 67 years old

Kapoor, some portion of a famous Bollywood family, was admitted to hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday and kicked the bucket on Thursday, as indicated by a family statement.

He had come back to India last September after experiencing treatment in the US for almost a year and was admitted to hospital twice in February.

His dad Raj Kapoor and granddad Prithviraj Kapoor were doyens of Bollywood, the vast Hindi-language film industry based in the western coastal city of Mumbai.

Kapoor's passing was uncovered the day after individual Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, star of Slumdog Millionaire, kicked the bucket at 53 years old.

 Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on Thursday: "Rishi Kapoor has gone… I just passed away… I am destroyed."

Actress Priyanka Chopra said Kapoor's passing was the finish of a period, including: "#Rishisir your sincere heart and immeasurable ability will never be experienced again."

Smriti Irani textile minister of India also tweeted: Khannas, Kapoors, and Malhotra's he said will always love the good life, will always laugh gregariously ... make the heavens happy Rishi Sir. Will miss you

Kapoor's famous hits included Laila Majnu, based on a legendary Persian story, Karz, Chandni, Kabhi Kabhi, Amar Akbar Anthony. In 1999, he coordinated Aa Ab Laut Chalen.

He switched to supporting roles during the 2000s and mainstream movies included Namastey London and Love Aaj Kal. He acted as of not long ago and his last film, The Body, was released in 2019.

Kapoor is survived by his better half, son, and little girl.
