Shiv Sena leader MP Sanjay Raut has finally been arrested by ED after 9 hours of interrogation. ED officials had come to his Maitri residence in Bhandup yesterday. He was detained after interrogation.

Raut was then taken to the ED office in central Mumbai. Finally, after several hours of interrogation, he has been arrested. (ED Arrest Sanjay Raut) 

Action has been taken against them in the Patra Chal scam case. Even before this, Sanjay Raut was summoned by ED twice, but Sanjay Raut did not appear.

Before the arrest, Sanjay Raut said, 'The way false documents, false testimony, all this is being done to weaken Maharashtra. It is being done to weaken Shiv Sena, but Shiv Sena will not be weakened. Maharashtra will not be weakened."

"Another thing is that Sanjay Raut will not bow down and will not leave the party. Sanjay Raut will not leave Shiv Sena", said Sanjay Raut.

After being detained by ED in the afternoon, Sunil Raut said, "The ED has taken action against Sanjay Raut due to his closeness with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

They have no evidence against Sanjay Raut. Another case will be investigated by giving the reason for this case. Sunil Raut himself is a Shiv Sena MLA. He was with Sanjay Raut since morning.

Sunil Raut said "Balasaheb did not bend. Sanjay Raut will not bend. He will not spare Uddhav Thackeray. When Sanjay Raut was taken away, my mother had tears in her eyes. My mother is a staunch Shiv Sainik. The summons that came from ED was by letter.

The documents that were there are of income tax. We too have tears in our eyes, but Sanjay Raut will not budge, this is the line on the black stone. We will not spare Shiv Sena or Uddhav Thackeray".
